What a nice little Bolivian restaurant in LA.  The seating area is small, be mindful if you have a large party. Probably no more than a dozen people can be seated.  The food was really good; the chicken in the picante del pollo dish was very tasty. The sauce was delicioso!

I went around 11:00 am on a Sunday, and even had a friendly chat with some of the Bolivian patrons.  Everyone inside the place was very friendly.

Please stop here if you are looking for some tasty Bolivian treats in LA!

Working on supporting more local owned shops so I looked out coffee shops in the valley and came across Pao's. We came an hr or 2 after open and the shop was fairly empty. The woman working behind the counter was really nice  and was patient with us as we decided what we wanted to order. We ordered quite a few things, like the alfajores, Salteño and a pastry filled with tapioca and cheese? We also ordered the latte and tea which is Lipton I believe... unsure of the espresso. The pastries were heated in the oven for us but unfortunately still obvious that they weren't fresh. I assume due to low turnover. The Salteña however was delicious. We ordered the spinach and cheese & juicy meat one. If I go back it will be for those. It was nice to sit in their dining area and watch tv. The woman talked with me and was really sweet.

I'm so glad they opened up this little cafe in town! I've been going there for a few months now to get my Bolivian food cravings and I can say it is consistently a great experience. Delicious food, good service and it is very well priced. I've tried so far chicken and beef salteñas, picante de pollo, picante mixto (was beyond amazing!) and of course silpancho. All very delicious! The baked goods are great good if you like cheese.

My only recommendation would be to keep the tables a little more clean. Sometimes I go after lunch rush and I notice crumbs on the table or chairs. Not a big deal but it would be nice to not have to deal with that. Other than that, amazing place to get delicious Bolivian food. I will continue to go there to try more dishes. Oh, they have special dishes on the weekend!

Love the Saltenas! They are pretty big from what I had before and very flavorful. Nothing beats food from home. This place is small but every authentic. Customer service was great, met the owner and she was sweet and attentive.

We ordered silpancho it was definitely delicious! The portion is generous and the whole meal was devouring. I will be coming back! This is a hidden gem for sure.

My family is from Bolivia and it's difficult to find an authentic restaurant. Pao's delivers a satisfaction that I crave. I recommend the Salteñas for a hearty treat.
